ITINERARY : (Duration of program : 11 – 12 Hours)
- 07.00 – 07.45 Pick up from your hotel or accommodation
- 07.45 – 09.15 Drive approximately 1½ hours through a nice rural area where you can have a scenic view of fresh mountain rivers, rice fields, corn fields and banana plantations.
- 09.15 – 10.00 Arrive at the Living Green Elephant Sanctuary where you will be briefed about our Sanctuary and change into traditional northern clothing.
- 10.00 – 11.15 Meet our Elephants. Feed and interact with our Elephants in their natural habitat as you learn about their history and understand their behavior.
- 11.15 – 12.00 Walk with the Elephants to the river and bathe them (However if the weather is too cold and the elephants don’t want to get into the river we would not force them).
- 12.00 – 12.45 Enjoy a delicious local meal and say goodbye to the Elephants.
- 12.45 – 13.15 Drive aproximately 30 minutes to Doi Inthanon National Park and explore the slopes and summit of Thailand’s highest mountain.
- 13.15 – 14.00 Enjoy the cool breeze and mist of the highest peak of Thailand.
- 14.00 – 15.00 Visit The Twin Pagodas which showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage and the Botanical Garden which has a variety of colorful flowering plants.
- 15.00 – 17.30 Start your hike at Pha Dok Siew nature trail where you’ll see rare wildlife, lush rice terraces, take a refreshing dip in the waterfall and visit an organic karen hilltribe coffee farm.
- 17.30 – 19.00 Leave Doi Inthanon mountain and drive approximately 1½ hours back to Chiang Mai.

Collection times may vary slightly depending on pick-up location. We offer a free transfer service to/from all places of accommodation within a 5 km radius of Chiang Mai’s Old City.
